Pineapple

A yellow fruit, sometimes quite woody or juicy!
Carrot salad with pineapple! Slovak food!
Fried ham with pineapple and cheese! Slovak food!
I wonder if in the High Tatras there is any hidden place with pineapple orchards!:)

Birthdays!!!

Getting more mature, wiser and unavoidable older-it all comes with your birthday. The passage of years affects everybody one way or another.
What are birthdays good for? I have thought of some reasons:
1). Getting presents. Yep! This is definitely no. 1. Its not that I am a material person- I just love receiving gifts.
2). Everybody remembers you. On this particular day you can get more phone calls( not business ones, but congratulating ones), everybody is nicer to you, you might even get to be the center of atention.)
3). You can look back on your experiences, make a balance of pros and cons and revise your life. This might come in hand. Its a good time for reflection even if it sounds melancholic.
4). Have a great cake! Birthday cakes rule! My mum used to bake me amazing cakes and when I was at the university she would send the ingredients for it with a recipe attached:).
5). Having a party! Yep, you have to spend some money ( a lot actually), pretend that you like everyone-but hey, these parties are a lot of fun .
Of course you are getting older, cause you want to get wiser. You wouldnt want to get younger and dumber! Think of aging like wine! The older , the better(sometimes, if youre not vinegar material:)))-even so, vinegar is useful in salads, hi hi).

To rest or not to rest?

That is the challenge!
Being sick is always an unpleasant moment for me. Why? Not because of the obvious reasons-like being scared for youre health and organism or the consequences of this state. No, thats a pebble in the sea for me! I hate being sick because it requires a lot of rest! Most of the time! Staying in bed, pretending to be a vegetable! It has never worked for me! Not talking to anyone??!! Thats killing me!
Ever since I was a child ( I mean I am still a child but before I was a smaller one) I couldnt stay in bed while being sick. During my school years I would have gone to school even with a temperature. Now its even worse! Contemplating walls and silence its just not for me! So, to rest or not to rest?

Duminica in Spisska

2 vevrite jucause, un parc cu brazi, putina zapada- o dupa-amiaza linistita in Spisska!
Un weekend "acasa"-fara prea multa agitatie si bataie de cap! O dimineatza insorita, o pllimbare prin centrul orasului si o dupa amiaza cu veveritze.:)

Long live Romania!

1st of December!-national day of Romania!
my soul is close to all Romanians in this day more than ever. Living among foreigners made me put a higher price on Romania. I really like my country and the people who live there. I am not a fanatic patriot but I realized that the Romanian living has something special, something that makes me smile when thinking about my country and its people.
