holiday time

In Romania there is something about holidays- either religios or political ones.We can enjoy them only if we relate them to food. We seem to forget the essential , the real meaning of this holidays. And even if we are free from work it shouldn't be just another pretext to make a barbeque. What, were we starving and now is the only moment to eat?We associate every one of this holidays with some dish- it became an automatism. Instead of taking some time for ourselves and meditate, see what makes us happy and enjoy the special conotation of that holiday we are very material and go for food. Maybe we are a hungry people!:))
